My views

The talent and passion hub is a place for pupils to perform but there are few performances and i think that refurnishing the canteen is a waste of money because the school is going into PRIME. The entrepreneurial hub is organised to build up our business skills and i think that it is very good but the profit that goes to the school is too much (no offense). Some of the bedazzled science experiments are good and help build up my knowledge.

What's Going On In The School's Canteen?

During our recess,there are many activities going on in our school's canteen.Among all the activities,I like the Bedazzled Science experiments best.I think it is a good idea to have such activities as we can learn from our school mates and also gain some knowledge.It will be interesting to those who love Science and those who would like to find out more about our daily life.Some experiment are such a wonder that we don't even realise it.Some experiments will help us in our Science pratical tests.Our friends who set up the experiments let us do it too.We get to learn it in a easier way.I think we have to do the experiments to remember the concepts better!!Students who are not interested in Science might find that Science is actually so amazing, interesting and gain interest.It can also help us not only during tests and exams but also in our daily life.

I love my new canteen, especially the items there, like the Bedazzled Science experiments. I like the experiments done by the 6s, 5s, 4s, and 3s. I think that the Primary sixes did the best experiments, but the other s were really creative too, and I don't mean to be rude. I also like the Talent and Passion hub, where I got to see some performances from a distance away. Last but not least, my favourites, the Entrepreneurial Hub and the IJ Creations stall. They sold some nice things in those stalls and some which are..not so nice, especially the ones they have 'used' before.

The Enterpreneurial Hub is a good place to sell things as the rent is cheap,it is very educational to us and we can learn the value of money. the most important thing is that we can get more money for the school building fund as 70 percent of our profit goes to the school.

The entrepreneurial hub in my school is a very creative idea ! I think that it is very good that this thing is made as pupils can earn a little money and exprience how to do business!! It also caused convinience to the staff and pupils in my school as they do not need to travel far to go and buy the things that they need !!

The coolest thing in the canteen.

The coolest thing in my canteen is the IJ creation and the entrepreneunrial hub.The rent for the stall is not expensive and I get to have a business experience.We get to keep thirty percent of the money and the rest procedes to the school building fund.The best thing is to do the proposal and I get very excited on the thing that we are going to sell.Pupils can go for bargin hunting and it is very fun when the pupils bargin with us.

Cool Performance[talent n passion hub]

The cool performance at the canteen is very interesting as many students want to show their talent ,example:dancing ,drawing and acting. I think it is very interesting as when people who are staying is very boring and has nothing to and they can go the talent and passion hub to and even during recess people who are eating can also watch their friends dancing and they can also help to cheer , i think the Talent And Passion Hub is a very interesting place .BBBBBYYYYYYEEEEE GOT TO GO.

My views on the science experiments

I like the Bedazzled experiments the most out of the recent events .The most fascinating experiment was the experiment whereby you roll a dough made of corn starch ,water and food coloring and after you roll into a ball , leave it and it turns into liquid was the most interesting out of all the experiments think the school should carry out more of such activities as it widens our knowledge of science.

The science experiments in the canteen of different levels are all so interesting and educational, it helps us to learn new things and try out the experiments. I find all of the experiments there all very inovative as i cannot determine who is the best in each level. I enjoy all the experiments as i am looking forward to the experiments in the primary three level.

Entrepreneurial Hub and Talent And Passion Hub

comment:I think that the Entrepreneurial Hub,can actually help the school with the School Building Fund.It is a good way to help earn money for the school too.We can actually buy those things that we need there.the things are also sell at a cheaper price.For those who set up the stalls, they get to earn 30% of the profit makewhile the other 70% go to the school building fun.
During recess we can actually go to those to see what they are selling.
comment:At the Talent And Passion Hub we can actually show our talent by performing on stage.It is a good way of relaxing during recess because while we are eating we can actus=ally wath their performances.For every performances put up, the performers put in alot of effort and gave in alot of their precious time to practice.I think that all of us give our support them.

Comments: The entreprenurial hub is a great way for students to work on their business skills , and to co-operate with one another and at the end of the day they will have to give a certain percentage of their profit to the school and the rest of the money which will be split up equally so that each of them will have the same amount of money and it will be equally fair. Not only will it be good for them ,the percentage of money given to the school will help the school in it's building fund. The school has done many ways of getting money to upgrade the school for example: 'Home Coming'. This is one of the ways the school is rasing money to upgrade the school. The aim of the school is to raise 1.5 million sing. dollars for the school to be upgraded.

Over the last few months with my new canteen, i am already getting use to it. One of the activities i like the most is the Bedazzled Sc experiments. I think that the p6s did a better job than the Primary fives and fours as they have more experience than the fives and fours. Next thing was the Talent and Passion hub. The pupils who went up there were brave as to perform in front of others.

I like my canteen, especially the Bedazzled Science Experiments. There were lots of experiments set up by the Primary sixes, fives, fours and threes. I like the ones by the primary 6s most, as they have the most knowledge for Science. But, the other levels are just as creative and interesting, and I don't mean to be rude. I also like the Talent and Passion Hub. There were lots of performances and dances that were very nice to look at. The things they sold at the Entrepreneurial Hub and IJ Creations stalls was, maybe, the best of them all. There were a lot of things to buy there, but some were not so nice, especially used materials.

My Canteen

I think that building the Talent and Passion hub was a waste of money as I don't think many people would want to perform on stage. I also think that not many people would contribute money to the performers.
I like the curiousity corner because I think it takes up the empty space in the canteen wisely. I say this because there is free internet access there (also everywhere in the school) and people can carry out their science experiments there on Science Day. If not, they will conduct it near the Science lab and it would be very messy and chaotic.
I like the juke box in the canteen. However, I do not like some of the songs chosen.
I like the 'cafe type of chairs and tables' because it is light and easy to carry if there are not enough chairs for everyone in that 'group'. Personally, I miss the Thosai stall as it sells good food at a reasonable price. Now, the queue for all the stalls are so long and so there is hardly time to eat.

I feel that the canteen looks somewhat modernized.It doesn't feel like CHIJ KCP anymore.Don't get me wrong, or anything. I love it.Especially the jukebox. The canteen is very very colorful and that is one of the reasons I like it. The jukebox, however, is all ways crowded by the time I get there, and it is very expensive, too.Also, maybe you can improve it a little by opening new stalls, since the thosai stall is gone now and the queues during recess are really long and some of us hardly get any food at all.And I also think there should be more 'Starbucks' tables and chairs.And more 'standing' tables(near the drinks stall)

i like the new canteen because there is a juke box there. but they always play the same songs every single day during recess. and there are too many chinese songs, and there are hardly any english songs.
the new canteen is also very colourful. especially the curiosity corner.
but i prefer the old canteen because the food was nicer last time. there was the thosai stall! i miss the thosai stall! but it has gone to another school!! so sad!!! haha.

My canteen.... Hmmm...Well, I think that the new canteen has a totally fresh look this year. The best part I feel is the juke box. It's truly relaxing to listen to music after a hard day of work. The decorations all around the canteen also make it more inviting, hopefully only to pupils and not the CROWS! I really miss the thosai stall. As I am a vegetarian on certain days, I can't eat anything else in the canteen except for the snacks from the "Delicious Delights" stall. I really hope a stall similar to the thosai stall will open soon. Bye!

Hi everyone. Welcome back to school. It's a new year- a brand new one yes! Sorry you don't have a new form teacher this year. You are stuck with ME for a whole year. I know what you are thinking - Homework, Homework and LOTS of Homework. Hey, it will all be over by October 2005 - PSLE! So please wipe that long grin from your faces.

On a serious note, I'm glad to be given the opportunity to nurture all of you and prepare you for your biggest challenge in primary education -PSLE! I really hope we'll work together as a team and make our class JO6 proud! All the best for the coming new year. Cheers!
